The Blueberry Curveball

Sweet, tart, and so very VANILLA.

Ingredients

  • 1½ oz vodka

  • ½ oz Disaronno

  • ½ oz fresh lemon juice

  • 1½–2 tsp VANILLA syrup (or simple syrup, to taste)

  • A good handful of fresh blueberries

  • ¼ tsp Sentani VANILLA Extract (The Sentani beans are especially good in this one!)

  • Optional: Splash of club soda for fizz

VANILLA Syrup

  • ½ oz VANILLA sugar

  • ½ oz water

Warm over low heat until the sugar dissolves completely. Remove from heat, cool, and store in a small jar or bottle — keeps up to two weeks in the fridge.

Instructions

  1. Muddle the blueberries in a shaker.

  2. Add ¼ tsp Sentani VANILLA Extract and stir — it releases that bright, tropical VANILLA aroma that makes this cocktail shine.

  3. Add vodka, Disaronno, lemon juice, and VANILLA syrup.

  4. Fill with ice and shake until cold and slightly thickened.

  5. Strain into a coupe or martini glass.

  6. Add a splash of club soda if you like it fizzy.

  7. Garnish with a few blueberries and a lemon twist — or spear blueberries onto a vanilla bean for the perfect finish.

 Dodger Reflections

The series isn’t over yet — and neither is our spirit.
Every inning tells a story, every pitch a chance to turn things around.

The Blueberry Curveball is my little toast to the tension, the talent, and the hope that still hangs in the air.
