All Grade-B Vanilla Beans
Grade-B vanilla beans are much drier than grade-A and often brittle. They are often called "Extract Grade" vanilla because they are often the bean of choice for commercial extract makers. They are less expensive because they don't have as many baking applications as Grade A, but they are fantastic for use in homemade vanilla extracts, vanilla powders and vanilla sugars. They are often very dry, brittle and cracked.
