Serves 1
Ingredients:
· 1.0 oz Vanilla limoncello (Make your own for YOUR perfect mix of sweet and tart)
· 1.5 oz Amaretto (Disaronno our favorite)
· 1 oz fresh lemon juice
· 3 strawberries and 1 Tablespoon of orange or lemon vanilla sugar . This is meant to be a sweet, refreshing cocktail. If you like things on the tart side, use less vanilla sugar. (Plain granulated sugar works too)
· 4 to 5 oz of club soda
Instructions:
- Add the three strawberries to the bottom of the cocktail shaker, and cover them with the sugar, stir, and let sit for 3-5 minutes. Muddle the sugar and strawberries. Make sure the sugar has dissolved into the strawberries. To save time, add the sugar to the strawberries beforehand and let it sit in the refrigerator until you’re ready to make your cocktails.
- Add the limoncello and Amaretto to the muddled strawberries
- Shake until it is well incorporated, about 30 seconds.
- Fill a glass with about 1 cup of ice and pour in the mixed cocktail with strawberries. If you want a completely smooth cocktail, strain it at this point. Add in the club soda and give it a stir.
- Garnish with a lemon wheel, or strawberry, or a vanilla bean!
** This can be made ahead, just add the bubbly when serving**
