Ingredients:

-1/2 c toasted coconut

-1/2 c slivered almonds

-1/2 c cacao nibs

-3 (or more) VanillaPura Madagascar beans

-12 oz of Svedka Vodka (or vodka of your choice)

 

Instructions:

1) Change the cacao nibs, coconut, and almonds out twice during the extracting process, and expect it to take 4-6 months to be completed.  

The VanillaPura Madagascar beans can remain in it indefinitely.

You are using 1 1/2 cups of 3 items each changed out twice which means you are soaking 4 1/2 cups of items in 12 ounces of vodka. Question: at the end after straining out last items how much extract do you anticipate having?

This sounds good but am wondering why slivered almonds were chosen since stone fruit gives a stronger almond flavor? Is that why? Would the stone fruit over power the other flavors?
