Instructions For Making This Extract - Ready in as little as 2 months:

  1. You will need a large open-mouth extract jar for this blend, a mason jar is ideal.
  2. Pour contents of the pouch into a jar using the following amount of vodka:
    1. 2oz Pouch - 12oz of Vodka
    2. 4oz Pouch - 24oz of Vodka
    3. 8oz Pouch - 48oz of Vodka
    4. 1lb Pouch - 96oz of Vodka
  3. Ensure that vanilla beans are fully submerged. 
  4. Store in a cool/dark place for 2 months and taste test by putting 1 drop of extract into 1 tablespoon of milk. If you like the taste, you can begin to use. If you would like more chocolate/peppermint flavor, continue extracting for up to 2 more months, taste testing regularly.
  5. Remove all the ingredients once ready and decant into a more decorative jar for use or gifting. 
  6. If you would prefer more vanilla flavor, leave the vanilla beans in for as long as you choose, taste testing regularly. 

You can grind your dried, old cacao nibs to be used as a garnish, in coffee, cookies and much more. They will have a slight peppermint and pink peppercorn flavor. You can add your vanilla beans to a mother jar or dry and powder them as well. They will also have a slight peppermint and sweet pink peppercorn flavor.
