This new, Grade-A vanilla bean from Papau New Guinea, is one of the most sweet, floral and delicate vanilla beans that we have encountered. This vanilla bean is of the Tahitensis species, making it more floral, fruity and sweet. We named this bean after Kerema, a beautiful, quaint, tropical port town on the Central Western side of Papua New Guinea (PNG).
VanillaPura's Kerema Vanilla Beans are of the highest quality and boast one of the most bold, floral and sweet tastes of all vanilla beans. They are dark, rich in oils and have a predominately strong vanilla aroma and taste when used in your extracts. Light spirits like vodka, white rum and tequila are traditionally best when making vanilla extracts with this exquisite vanilla bean.
When you first open a pouch of Kerema vanilla beans, your nose will be met with a fruity and floral sweet vanilla aroma. It's a simple, elegant, fruity and traditional vanilla experience. The people and cultures that produce these amazing vanilla beans are proud of their heritage and the sweetness emanating from their country through this amazing little spice.
