There’s something about spring that makes us want to slow down, gather the kids (and the kids at heart), and make something simple… but memorable.
This Chocolate Vanilla Bunny Milk is exactly that.
It’s playful. It’s nostalgic. And with just a touch of chocolate vanilla extract, it turns a simple glass of milk into something that feels a little extra special.
Whether you’re setting a spring table, hosting a brunch, or just looking for something fun to surprise the kids, this one is easy, sweet, and guaranteed to get smiles.
What is Bunny Milk?
Think of it as a dressed-up chocolate milk…
…but served inside a hollow chocolate bunny, topped with whipped cream, and finished with a straw for sipping.
Simple. Fun. A little unexpected.
What You’ll Need (2 Servings)
- 2 cups milk
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons vanilla sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon chocolate vanilla extract
- 2 hollow chocolate bunnies
- Whipped cream (optional, but the kids love it)
- 2 paper straws
Blend for Smoothness
Add to a blender:
- Milk
- Cocoa powder
- Vanilla sugar
- Chocolate vanilla extract
Blend for 20–30 seconds until smooth and silky.
No grit, no clumps—just rich, chocolate vanilla milk.
Assemble
Carefully cut the ears off the hollow chocolate bunny. Not all bunnies are created equal. Russell Stover's leaked for me, go for the Lindt gold bunny.
Fill with chocolate vanilla milk, top with whipped cream, and finish with a fun colored paper straw.
Let the kiddos help with this part—it’s messy, fun, and they’ll love every second of it.
And if you’re making a few extras for the grown-ups…
A splash of homemade Coffee or Irish cream liqueur doesn’t hurt either
The VanillaPura Way
We always say vanilla makes everything better… and this is one of those recipes where you can taste it.
That chocolate vanilla extract brings depth, warmth, and just enough richness to turn something simple into something layered and memorable.
