Choose from 3 different species of vanilla:
Madagascar V. Planifolia | Popular, classic, buttery vanilla aroma and taste. |
Sentani V. Tahitensis | Bold, spicy, blackberry, anise undertones. |
Rioja V. Pompona | Vanilla, caramel, figgy, fuit undertones. |
We recommend selecting at least 2 different species of vanilla beans so you can teach the difference in taste and aroma between varieties. While we recommend that all first-time extract makers use vodka, you may choose to instruct your party guests to bring other spirits like bourbon or rum so you can discuss the differences of each.
