This Strawberry Vanilla Simple Syrup combines the juicy flavor of fresh strawberries with the warm, creamy notes of vanilla, creating a luscious syrup perfect for cocktails, mocktails, or drizzling over desserts. Quick, easy, and irresistibly delicious!

Ingredients

·       2 cups fresh strawberries (cleaned and quartered)

·       1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract  (2 if you're not using vanilla sugar)

·       1 vanilla bean (Optional)

·       2 cups vanilla sugar (plain sugar works too)

·       2 cups water

Instructions

1.    Combine water, sugar, vanilla bean (Cut and sliced to release the seeds), and strawberries. Stir to incorporate all the ingredients.

2.    Bring to a boil on medium-high heat for 10-15 minutes or until the liquid has become a deep pink. Add in the vanilla extract and let it cool.

3.    Strain with a fine mesh strainer into a heat-proof bowl. Allow the syrup to cool, and add the vanilla extract 

4.    At room temperature, transfer to a glass jar. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.
