Get expert training for extract making from the founders of VanillaPura!
Paul & Jill Fulton, owners of VanillaPura, are excited to offer live, interactive extract-making classes from their kitchen with you!
This class will focus on the spirits used for extract making. Many people share how the first trip to the liquor store was a bit overwhelming. If you aren't familiar with alcohol, then the multitude of spirit brands and types can be hard to navigate. We will walk you through the differences in bourbons, rums, vodkas, tequilas and more, so when you are ready to purchase your alcohol you will know what to buy. We will also talk about how the various alcohol types do and don't pair well with the various vanilla bean types. And we'll have a lot of fun talking about it.
VP University classes are designed to be personal, with live interaction and conversation. Class sizes will be limited to just 10-30 students so there will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions and get to know Paul and/or Jill along with the other students even more.
Classes will be held using Google Meet. One week before the class, an email will be sent to each student that will include a link to the Google Meet Meeting to access the class.
Students are asked to request to join the meeting 10 minutes before start time so the class can begin with all students on time.
Each student will be sent a certificate of completion at the conclusion of class.
If you are a member of our Facebook group, Making Vanilla Extract by VanillaPura, a Certificate of Completion from VP University supersedes the time qualification to become a group expert. Which means that VP University Graduates don't need to be a member for 12 months to qualify to be a group expert.
Classes are fully refundable until 1 week before the class. Classes can be cancelled and fully refunded by the administrators if a minimum of 10 students do not register.
We look forward to making extracts with you!
