Contrary to popular belief, curry powder is a Western invention and doesn't represent a South Asian spice or food. However, a spice blend called garam masala is used frequently in South Asia that is similar to curry powder.
The word "curry" comes from the Tamil word "kari" which means "sauce, relish for rice".
The use of curry-like mixtures dates back almost 4,000 years and commonly contained ginger, garlick, tumeric and other spice blends.
Our curry powder like all of our spices is 100% pure and all-natural.
